Lake House

2015
Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Set on a beautiful lot with lake access, the owner and interior designer worked to maintain the soul of the home while incorporating modern function. Having not been remodeled since originally constructed, the spaces were divided and had no connection with each other. While opening up the spaces, the designer and builder were able to conserve the main vaulted living space, with large glazed openings facing the lake, utilizing casework to define distinct spaces for cooking, casual dining and formal dining.

Our part to play in this process was to design and manufacture the casework and millwork. Working closely with the interior designer, Yankee Built worked through multiple shop drawings to reach a place that fit the design intention and required function.
